Terms
Terms and conditions
These are the ground rules for using Cantonese Soups, buying the ebook and booking a Featured spot. We kept them short and in plain words.
Who runs Cantonese Soups
Cantonese Soups is run by Tiny Labs LLC, a small independent studio. When these terms say "we" or "us," they mean Tiny Labs LLC.
Recipes are home cooking, not medical advice
Our recipes, ingredient natures (cooling, neutral, warming) and notes on confinement, milk supply and other moments in life are traditional home cooking and food lore. They are not medical advice. Check with your doctor before using food to treat anything, especially if you’re pregnant, nursing or on medication. Check every ingredient for allergies, and cook and store food safely.
Shopping links and affiliate links
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. We also earn from Yami purchases made through our links. Buying through a link costs you nothing extra, and links never decide which soups or ingredients appear here. Prices and stock are set by each store and can change, so check before you buy.
The ebook
The ebook is a PDF sold through Stripe. It’s for your own kitchen, so please don’t share or resell the file. All ebook sales are final. If your download fails or the file is broken, email us and we’ll resend it or fix it.
Featured spots
Food, pantry and kitchen brands can book a Featured spot: a Featured collection, a Pantry spot on ingredient pages, or a Featured soup page. A spot runs for the dates you book, usually 30 days, at the price we quote before you pay.
- What we guarantee. Your spot runs on the pages and dates you paid for. We don’t guarantee any number of visits, clicks, sign-ups or sales.
- Always labeled. Paid spots are labeled Featured, and their links use rel="sponsored". Partners never change a soup’s recipe, its nature, its cautions or which soups we list.
- No health claims. We don’t run ads that say a food treats, cures or boosts anything.
- Payment. Payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- All sales are final once your spot goes live.
- When we refund you in full. If we can’t run your spot, you get all your money back. For example: the event or launch you’re promoting is cancelled or moved, what you sell is outside what we cover, you paid twice by mistake, or the site is down for a meaningful part of your dates.
- We can say no. We can decline or remove a spot that is misleading, spam or unsafe. If we remove it before it runs, we refund you in full.
No warranty
We work hard to keep the recipes accurate and the site online, but Cantonese Soups is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, Tiny Labs LLC isn’t responsible for indirect or knock-on losses from using the site, the ebook or a Featured spot. If we do owe you something, the most we owe is what you paid us for the ebook or spot in question.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the new version applies. A Featured spot you already paid for runs under the terms that were in place when you bought it.
